I find it hard to describe my two-weeks holidays in Bali and my stay in the Zala Villa: words like amazing and fantastic are used too frequently and are just not enough to describe Bali. The island is exotic and so diverse, that it suits many tastes. I visited Bali with three of my friends, we wanted to see and experience different things, and each of us found something for himself. Some wanted to relax by the pool in the Villa, others wanted to experience some adrenalin so we headed for diving, surfing and night life.
Andrej would drive us around showing us Bali and he would never go mad when I asked him to stop every five minutes to capture the moment with my camera. And I must not forget Idas’ cuisine, the dishes were so tasteful and amazingly prepared in the relaxed ambience of the Zala Villa. I will never forget how the smell of delicious coconut pancakes was waking me up… and the tropical fruits….it makes my mouth water again… In sum - holidays that one can only wish for!!
Only now I know how much Bali there is still to discover and I really hope, Andrej and Ida, that I will see you in Bali next year again.
